DR-5 Rhythm section, a midi controller?
I have an old Dr-5 Rhythm Section hanging around and was wondering if I could use it as a midi controller until I buy a real one.
I was going to purchase EZ drummer or some other type of similar software and just need something I can tap to utilize the sounds. I have a midi to usb converter. If I use a normal keyboard with a midi-out and use a converter (t USB) is this just as good as a USB midi-controller or am I missing out on functions? I'm a total newb at this as I've never touched a keyboard in my life, just the guitar... Thanks for any help! |
