Default Faders Jump in PT 12

Weird bug here...Happened yesterday.

I put my mouse cursor on a fader to move it up or down and once I click on the fader to move it, the fader itself suddenly jumps down to very bottom just on its own. I can't get it back up until I hit the key command for unity gain. Automation not on. No other fader settings.

I had to quit Pro Tools and restart my computer in order to get the bug to finally go away.

Anyone else have this?

I'm having it tonite, with only one session. All other songs ok, this one, I go to move a fader ever so slightly, drops to the bottom, can't find anything in the help feature to address this.

In edit, I have the option of "Undo Control Value Change", but I cannot find a way to simply disable this from occurring, perhaps I am missing something in translation, but never experienced this in any DAW before.

I'm sure it's likely something simple, just don't know where to go to do it.

Can anyone help?

Update:
Closed/saved the session.
Reopened.
Problem disappeared.
I have no idea why or how, but I am happy with the results.
