increasing H/W buffer size
I keep getting this error everytime i try to play back a mix.
It says "Operating System has held off interrupts for too long, If this occurs often, try increasing the buffer size In the playback engine dialog." When I record it also displays the same error and prevents me from continuing recording. Any tips will be helpful. Thanks. |

Re: increasing H/W buffer size
Did you try increasing the buffer size in the playback engine as the error suggested?
Also, please post your system specs, we can't help if we don't know what you're using. |

Re: increasing H/W buffer size
What interface and version of PTLE are you using? Assuming they're compatible with your OS, have you done all the things in the "Setup & General Troubleshooting" thread near the top of the forum?
For the Windows XP guy, you should try posting over in the windows forums, I'm sure they have a "General Setup & Troubleshooting" thread over there too which would be worth your time to check out. |
