Default update from 12.6 to 12.6.9

I was wondering if I should upgrade from 12.6. to 12.6.9 (latest Monterey) because my system became pretty unstable with newer apps lately - and if yes would you recommend to just do it over the existing 12.6 and protools 2022.12?

Not much info here for folks to make useful suggestions from.

What will likely help you get better help -

What apps became unstable? Pro Tools became unstable? What exact errors/problems do you see for what app?

What was changed before things became unstable.

What exact Mac/config? esp Apple Silicon or Intel?

If Pro Tools you likely should start by running though the standard troubleshooting steps before making any changes. See under "Help Us Help You" up the top of each DUC web page.

I'm not aware of any application stability issues with 12.6 vs 12.6.9 but I've had no issues running 12.6.x updates regularly with PT. The incremental updates are usually for security holes found in the OS.

ok if it`s only for security reasons I don`t have to update - I thought stability issues were getting better along the updates too
