Setting Up Midi Sustain Pedal
I'm kinda new to Pro Tools and I have a quick, maybe dumb, question. I'm trying to get my sustain pedal to work with my midi because the midi notes won't sustain when I hit the pedal...Maybe I haven't set it up right....It is a nuisance and annoyance...I'm running 6.4 on an MBox, using a Roland PC-70 Midi Controller, and Reason 2.5 if this helps. Oh yeah, and the midi card is an Echo Mia. Don't shoot me down too bad....

Re: Setting Up Midi Sustain Pedal
Possibly the sustain pedal you're using has incorrect polarity. You may need to get one with a polarity switch or one that's compatibile with your keyboard. There also may be a way to set the sustain pedal 'state' in the keyboard itself.
