PT 7.4, and OSX10.4.5?

Hi all

Please forgive me if there is an obvious answer to this question. I have tried to read the support pages, and couldnt find a clear answer to this. I have also searched, with same amount of luck:)

I want to upgrade to 7.4 but I dont know if it will work properly with 10.4.5.
Can anyone help me with this?
Im on a G5 ppc, dual 1.8, running OSX 10.4.5. My PT system is HD 7.1cs5.

R der 1 grund til at du ikke er på 10.4.9? (Ku' ikke nære mig - at skrive lidt på dansk)

Is there a reason you aint on 10.4.9... reason I ask, is that I remember quite a few problems on 10.4.5.

Anyway - have you checked digi's compato? If not you can do so here:

BTW - I dont see why it should not work. If you have your specific reasons to stay on tiger 4.5. then do so But remember if for some reason you have to update to use PT 74 then manually DL the COMBO installer to reach 10.4.9 -

I would NOT got with 10.10 or 10.11... I had a lot of trouble with those versions and that was not only with PT but with Tiger it self....

Helt fedt med en dansk post. Tak for din hjælp!

The reason why Im only on 10.4.5, is because Im not not much of a computerguy, and alsways seem to find some problems when I finally bites the bullet. The system has worked quite well so far, I guess thats also another reason.
I have checked the compato pages. They said something like 7.0 to 7.4 needs 10.4, but then started mentioning ,8, 9 and so on.
I got confused
