help please with mixing and mastering in protools 8

never mind I figured it out on my own. However being that I am new to this recording stuff I would appreciate any tips. I am an Independant Female Vocalist and writter- also engineer . Therfore as I said any help , tips, or tricks that you may have I really would like to learn.
