"AAF Library Initialization Failed" Error
Hello,
When starting up Pro Tools 7.4cs3 with Waves Mercury Bundle installed, after the "DAE Loading" screen an error message stating "AAF Library Initialization Failed" pops up followed by a message referencing the file C:\Program Files\Digidesign\Pro Tools\AAFCOAPI.dll. I have determined that the Waves Bundle is in some way related to this error because Pro Tools loaded smoothly prior to installing it and after uninstalling it. When Pro Tools crashed, it saved a log file too long to paste here, but which included a series of debug info repeated several times that I will paste. So it loads ok without the Waves bundle installed? Which version of Waves do you have?

I upgraded to version 6 from version 4.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I have searched these forums and the internet and couldn't find any other instances of this particular error message.
I should note that in my previous post I said I upgraded to version 6; it is actually version 5 of the Waves bundle I am trying to upgrade to. Thanks
