Thanx to some old pals from this site who sent holiday messages
Unfortunately I am no longer actively running a studio in the commercial sense..got old and keeping a big pro room loaded with hardware would have been financial suicide.
So..working from my home, some post freelancing.

But..I miss it, a lot. The music, all those creative all night sessions..being in it...you know.
As far as using Pro Tools..rarely. I didn't keep up my update plan, have up to 12.8.2 sitting in my account. The last version I have installed is 12.4 and it is more than I'll ever need.

I'll try to drop by occasionally ..follow up how you guys doing. It's a different vibe on the DUC..

And ...oohhh...btw....I've fallen into the dark hole. Just now I have paid the Avid collector. He was very polite and warned me 12.8.3 would be my last opportunity to stay afloat on W7. And I'll be everywhere !

Paddy had long heard the stories of an amazing family tradition. It seems that his father, grandfather and great-grandfather had all been able to walk on water on their 18th birthday.

On that special day, they'd each walked across the lake to the pub on the far side for their first legal drink.

So when Paddy's 18th birthday came around, he and his pal Mick took a boat out to the middle of the lake, Paddy, stepped out of the boat .... And nearly drowned! Mick just barely managed to pull him to safety.

Furious and confused, Paddy went to see his grandmother. "Grandma he asked, "Tis me 18th birthday, so why can't I walk across the lake like me Father, his father and his father before him?"

Granny looked deeply into Paddy's, troubled eyes and said, "Because ye father, ye grandfather and ye great-grandfather were all born in December when the lake is frozen, and ye were born in August, ya fooking idiot!"​
