iLock problem-help (Digi?)

Hi
There is a problem the last days when my iLock is connected to USB.Everything that is connected to the USB port doesn't work properly (mouse,keyboard).The cap lock key flashes and the mouse crashes.Also the light on the iLock is off.Any suggestions please?

Get a powered USB Hub and connect all of your non-ilok devices to that. Then connect your iLok directy to the Mac.

Could be a dead iLok. I had one. It acted the same way. Try moving it slightly in the USB port to see if the light ever comes on. If you have authorizations from multiple vendors on it, it might have to be resolved through PACE (they can act as a clearinghouse). If it's just the plugins from a Mix promotion, Digi should be able to replace it. Even with a dead iLok, the vendors can determine which authorizations are on it. If you need to ship it back, make sure you insure it for the full value of the plugins.

Yup! exactly the same thing that happened to me. Call up digi tech support and they can send you out another one. I got mine the next work day.
