HDX/PT11 and HD2/PT10 same machine?
This may be a stupid question, but has anybody tried running
HD2 accel (2 cards) plus an HDX card in a current Mac Pro or an expansion chassis, with Pro Tools 10 using the HD2 cards and Pro Tools 11 using the HDX card? I'm guessing it won't work, but curious if anyone has tried it.

I'm curious why you'd want to do that, when HDX can run both 11 and 10 (just switch back and forth). They certainly can't be run at the same time, if that's what you're trying to do.

Only reason to do it is of course a need for TDM specific stuff like Ampfarm, Echofarm, etc
Doubt it would work. I know when I was running HD Native with my TDM system still in a Magma chassis (a config that I never did need to go back to) I could not have the chassis on and use the Native card, PT didn't like that.
