Mbox 2 and PT 2020.5?

Hey guys, i've been under a rock for a while...a long while. Started with PT 7 that came bundled with my Mbox 2. Used PT 10 for a long time and just now got PT 2020.5 after my computer finally died after almost 10 years! So am i reading correctly that the Mbox2 will not work with the latest PT version? The mbox 2 green light wont even power up. Is there a fix for this? If not what do you guys recommend as a good alternative interface. Thanks

How much I/O do you need and what's your budget? That will determine suggestions.

... and what kind of quality you expect. Because it is very easy to suggest something modular such as Apogee Symphony mkII but it is far more expensive than any Mbox ever

Drivers of MBOX2 aren't incompatible with the las 3 MAC OS, Mojave, Catalina & Big Sur and on PC With the release of Windows 10 2004 This Drivers from MBOX2 Crash all System!!! Probably you'll need a brand new Interface.... My MBOX2 is like a part of the decoration on my home Studio

I was cool with the 2 i/o of the mbox. I only do simple 1 or 2 mic hand drum and various percussion recordings at home. All bigger projects are done in a proper recording studio. Thanks

Audient, Focusrite, Mackie, Steinberg and others have affordable 2 I/O interfaces. Farther up the food chain would be Apogee, RME, UAD and others. Do some research and find user reviews, not just about the interface, but its drivers too. Another consideration is the interface's connection. If you don't have USB-C and/or Thunderbolt ports, any interface with that is out.

The Ploytec driver would have been another possibility. But that would mean money down the drain after Catalina I think.
