Playback issue

The issue I'm having is during playback. When I am done recording and then play it back the sound I get is real crappy. Almost sounds like it is in a bubble. I've made sure there are no plugins set on the track. I am using the m audio black box as my interface since I play guitar and use the effects built in that. In reaper and mixcraft I didn't have this issue but in pro tools I do. Any suggestions?
