PT LE 7.3(003 rack) and iMac(10.4.10) can work?

Recently I purchased iMac, preinstalled 10.4.10 and Protools Le(7.3/003 rack).
When I installed and connected PT to my iMac, the computer did not detect PT.
I have searched and read several posts, but could not find any solution.

Isn't there any way to use PT with my new iMac? Should I downgrade to 10.4.9?

Pro Tools LE 7.3.1 is not officially qualified for 10.4.10 or 10.4.11 but it should work fine.

Do you have the latest version of 7.3 (I think it's 7.3.1cs6)?

Have you looked here? There are lots of helpful tips there. Make sure you read this page as well.

If none of that stuff helps, you should provide some more detailed information about your system per this page and hopefully we'll be able to get you up and runing.

Thanks for the info. I will udgrade to the latest version and try again.
When I connect PT le to my windows computer, it works.
Only the problem is iMac shows the error message in launching PT, 'unable to locate protools...'
I already tried install 'prebind_script', and some other tips, like auto software update,. But
the mac still shows the same message.
I am using iMac 2.4, 1g ram, 20" monitor.

I'm running on an iMac with PT 7.3.1cs6 and OSX 10.4.11 with no problems.

Originally had 10.5 loaded, but it could never locate the 003, so I downgraded.

Come to think of it, I don't remember if I applied cs5 (which was latest then) with OSX 10.5, but, if it ain't broke...
