Default pt 7.3 & \"send to sibelius\" command

Would anyone have any details on this feature? Does it work with the G7 program for guitars or just higher end Sibelius programs? It would be awesome to import a PT session and have it print out the tab/music for the piece! I'm sure that would be too good to be true.

It only works with the full version of Sibelius, and (I'm sure you are aware) only works on MIDI tracks.

Thanks for the reply. So I guess if you had a midi guitar to play into a pt session and the full blown version of Sibelius, it would work. pretty cool, albeit spendy!

I see no reason why you couldn't just import an SMF into G7, after all, apart from the obvious advantages of Send to Sibelius command, it also sends an SMF to your sessions MIDI folder.

Ummm... however you could search for a WAV or AIFF to MIDI Converter.

This 'feature' just spits out a midi file. So unless your midi in pro tools is 100% accurate and neat, it will be complete gibberish when opened in Sibelius or Finale.
