Default can\'t open sessions directly, DAE 6012 error
After a pleathora of issues, I have done a complete clean install of OS9 and PT. I cannot open sessions by clicking the session icon, as I get a DAE 6012 error, and PT quits. the only way I can open sessions is from the open command from PT.

What's the fix?

Have you considered it may be a hardware issue with your PT hardware? Did you clean all your edge connectors, etc and reseat the card?

From the Digi Answerbase

"6012 error at PT launch:

Reseat cards and cables."

Another entry mentions trashing the digisetup, PTLE prefs, DAE prefs, and rebuilding the desktop on all drives.

I assume you didn't install any new hardware (PCI video capture cards, graphics cards, etc... in your MAC.

Checked the 001 in another machine, works perfectly. Clean install of OS and PT. No other installation of apps or add'l hardware.
