I now strongly believe, that there is a trivial reason behind this.
Cutter send the AAF/MXF-files via Dropbox.
I downloaded, unknowing, that the upload was yet incomplete.
It worked, when I realized that and waited.
Dropbox could add a warning : You are downloading something, that still gets uploaded.
