Just happened to install Lion on an external drive on my laptop this morning then hey, saw 9.05. A little slow today so downloaded and installed. Works so far with no problems but have no 3rd party plugs installed. I can play around with the laptop and not interrupt the system I make a living with.

Edit: And I'm NOT installing 9.05 on my very stable 10.6.7 / 9.03 HD system.

PT will no longer open, but quits on launch. Twice so far, with Mac restarts & trashing all preferences & setup files.

I'm going to hunt down that full installer before I go back to 9.0.3, but I'm wishing right now I hadn't pulled the trigger.
Going back to 9.0.3. My crash log is here for what it's worth:

The crashlog points to Flux, TraxSF. Maybe pull that?

Downloading now. (it says 4 hours and 28 minutes to go)

I will load Lion and PT 9.0.5 on a separate HD on my Mac Pro (So as to not negatively impact my Snow Leopard/PE 9.0.3 installation.

As for the big cats, We can still go with the extinct Smiledon (Saber-Tooth Cat), Or as Snow Leopard is a variation of Leopard, there are still variations of Tigers (Bengal). Not to be limited to African big cats as we have seen Jaguar (North and South America), we might see Cougar or Mountain Lion. Some smaller cats might make the list like Lynx, or the Bobcat. However I agree, that Lion seems like a good point to stop with the big cats naming convention.

OS X Sasquatch....nuff said!

And keeping with the point of this thread and TOTALLY agreeing with "audiobob," 9.0.3 on 10.6.7 is super duper stable (love it!!!)

Thanks - I'll give that a try when I can, but back on 9.0.3 already.

Definitely waiting here. The published fixes for 9.0.5 don't relate to any issue for me at all. This seems more like a public beta for 10.7

YMMV
