DigiLink HD Omni and HD Native Thunderbolt

We bought an HD Omni and HD Native Thunderbolt/Pro Tools HD bundle several years ago and didn't install it until recently due to the construction and move to a new facility.

There seems to be no communication between the two pieces of hardware. When launched, Pro Tools HD doesn't see the HD Omni. The HD Native Thunderbolt shows in an OS X system report, but no HD Omni.

My initial question is: do we need a DigiLink i/o license to get the two pieces of hardware to recognize and work together?

What PT version are you running? Anything over 12.6 you need to get the digilink software in order to use the gear you mention.

And... how are you determining what is going on? If it is not a license issue,... What does Digitest show? What lights are on the interface box? Swap the Digilink cable (always have a spare).

Thanks for the replies, Christopher and Darryl.

We have 12.7 installed so it seems probable that is the issue. I'll pursue that avenue before anything else and I'll be back if we still have problems.
