Default Lexiverb Update?

I received Lexiverb v 2.0 from digi and it has v 1.0 install disks and v2.0 update disk in the package but NO v1.01 disk! Version 2.0 needs to see v 1.01 to update so it will work on Mix+...any news on when this update will be available?

Dear Kal,

You have received a box with the incorrect disks! It looks like we created a very small lot (fewer than 30) of these boxes which contain version 1.0 in the box and an upgrader that works with version 1.01. We are working to create an updater that will work with version 1.0 _immediately_ and will post it on our web site and send it out to you automatically. Please send me your e-mail adress and I will send it to you as soon as it's ready. That goes for anyone else who has received this version in error. Digidesign apologizes for the error. The fix should be available in a few days.

I tried the updater on a fresh reinstall of Lexiverb 1.0, and I get a "resource modified, can't update" message... What gives? Started w/o extensions, checked for viruses...

David,

We just posted a new updater Monday night (Dec. 13) that updates both LexiVerb 1.0 and 1.0.1 to v2.0. Unless you are talking about this new updater, download it from here:
http://www.digidesign.com/serv/ftpmaps/lexiverb.html

If the new updater is the one you are experiencing problems with, please let us know.

The last thing we want to do is get a journalist mad at us.

David,
You're not the only one that reported this error message, so we are getting as many people as possible to take a look at it internally. Of course we wanted to post it as quickly as possible, so we put it on the web site immediately. If it has to be redone, we'll post that right away as well, and keep you informed.

I got a "newer" version of 1.0 that works with the updater.
Why not just provide the plug-in? Is it concern over piracy?

I just want to assure everyone that we're working on this this morning. This may be a problem related to PACE copy protection. We'll post something to this board as soon as we have isolated and solved this problem.

Thanks
