How do set a session to open in the EDIT window by default?

How do set a session to open in the EDIT window by default?

I'm using 5.3.1 (I know don't say it). My sessions always open in the MIDI event list. I would rather they open in the EDIT window but I don't know how to set a default for that. It's only an inconvenience but it's kind of annoying to me.

Anybody???
