Default hooking up of 4 active monitors

I have The DIGI OO2 table top with 8 sliders...The manual does not talk about how to hook up 4 monitors that are active...I can only see the single set of Monitor outs R & L that would be controlled by the Monitor Level knob.

One curiousity I had is if I can use a 1/4" audio plug splitter like I do with the headphones or would this diminish the signal to the monitors in any way?

Help please...Sincerely...Cornell d'Angelo

Assuming you mean 2 sets of stereo monitors, the best thing is to buy the Samson C-control ($99) as it will allow you to switch between up to 3 sets of active monitors. Presonus and Mackie make similar units but at a much higher price. I would not recommend using "Y" cords as it may affect the response. If you intend to operate both sets of monitors at the same time, you will need to read the manual with any of the mentioned units to see which allows that(I believe the Presonus does).

I second the C-Control, best $99 you can spend.
