Default Workaround for PT 10.3.10 in Yosemite...

PT 11 works great in Yosemite on my new iMac and PT 10 works with its known flaws on my Mac mini. The Mac mini had PT 10 already installed as I upgraded the OS X, but the iMac never had any other OSX then Yosemite.

I need to have a version of PT 10 (flawed) on the new iMac besides the working PT 11 - what is the workaround for that???

I have unsuccessfully tried to fool the system with the Terminal resetting to an older OSX and the installing. Had to reinstall the OS X a couple of times.

Tried to take a hardcopy of the Mac mini to the iMac - no luck.

Any other wild ideas??? (Please, I'm out of suggestions)

...and, yes, I already bought the VSL to have 32-bit plugins in PT 11 and, no, TC electronic will not upgrade their PowerCore for use in PT 11 and I have already successfully used KEXT to make the PoCo work in Yosemite.

I have succesfully installed 10 in yosemite with pacifist…but this trick is much quicker and it's 100% confirmed that will work

we trusty old TDM customers feel even worse, having invested a lot on their stuff and they're not delivering updates.
