weeks of failure W7, le 8, and an 003

I've been attempting to get pro tools to run now for weeks, close to a month of personal trial and error and forum foraging. Nothing works. I used to run PT LE 8 on this same machine with the same operating system but I used an mbox2 through usb. I need more inputs than just the 2 so I acquired an 002 which failed to work and is now broken. So i got an 003 on top of it and now am looking to resell the 002.

Anyways, le 8 installed and i can see that it works totally fine. However, it won't run because it is unable to locate the hardware. I just got a brand new pci firewire port which definitely means it is not fried and I was extra careful not to fry the 003 because I am fairly certain that is what happened to the 002. The cable is brand new as well so it should be functioning perfectly as well. I have tried using all of the drivers available in the list. Le is updated to 8.0.5.

It just makes absolutely no sense why this still is not working. I just got the 003 and it seems to be functioning fine (typical start up). Please help if possible, here is my sandra, let me know if I need to provide more info.
