This was specifically happening on my Windows system.

I'll jave to try it on my Mac and see if it does the same thing after rehearsal is over. I got around it by just using all caps on both systems today.

I can confirm that this is not happening on my MacBook. It seems to only be happening on my Windows machine.

Yeah, it's a Windows only thing. I use both, and it doesn't happen on the Mac side. Annoying as hell sometimes. For Post work, I like to put names in the comments so that my tracks names remain DX 1, DX 2, ect. I find there's always a Karen, Kristen or Kevin in the show. LOL.

Here is a workaround: I<aren, I<risten, or I<evin. It's stupid but will work to get through the session.

Unfortunately, this does not work for Windows.
With keyboard focus OFF, hold Shift and hit K opens the MIDI Keyboard
With keyboard focus ON, just clicking in the comments box turns the keyboard focus OFF, so hold Shift and hit K also opens the MIDI Keyboard

In Post #13, Justice already established that this is a Windows problem only.

Best workaround for a real capital ‘K’ (on Windows) –

Turn Caps Lock key ON
Left-click in comments box - hit the K key
