Default PT won\'t launch

After recent problems with Tiger (not being able to shut down and CDs wouldn't eject), I tried a number of different remedies. One of the things I did was reinstall the OS. Now Protools won't launch after the reinstall. I get the warning: Application Launch Failure - The application "Protools LE 6.9.2" could not be launched because of a shared library error:"-<Protools PPC dbg><Protools PPC dbg><DAE><>".
Do I need to reinstall PT or what? By the way, I found the cure for other problems which were affecting other programs' performances as well. I had to reset the PMU (power management unit).
