Default playback limited to 16 tracks ??!!

I am using 3 delta 1010lt's through a 24 track analog mixer...24 track recording and playback works fine on sonar and other progs but playback is limited to 16 tracks on PT7.

Any suggestions ??

Using multiple interfaces is not supported. They may show up in the hardware
setup and all may seem fine and dandy untill you try to use them then you
start having problems.

I'm guessing those are 16 stereo tracks. PT7-MP is limited to playing back 32 voices max at a time. Each stereo track is 2 voices, so 2 X 16 = 32 voices. The only way to increase that is to purchase the Music Production Toolkit. That will get you up to 48 tracks at once. That's 48 tracks (either stereo or mono), not voices. It lists for $495, but you get some nice plugins with it too, not just the track increase. I picked up a copy from audiomidi.com for $449. More info here - http://www.digidesign.com/products/d...roduct_id=4865 .

no that's 16 mono tracks...three 8 in 8 out analog cards..all 24 show up in the I/O setup and recording to any of the 24 is not a problem..only playback...weird thing is outputs to tracks 17-24 are allowed in the output setup but it just does not actually output the audio to the interface

I'm not sure this would qualify as "multiple interfaces" they are connected by spdif and work as one unit...they show up fine in the I/O setup and Delta Audio panel...they work fine under all other DAE programs.
