Default Command Focus bug?

I can't remember or not if I brought this up before, because I believe this has happened prior to the 8.0.1 update.

But has anyone noticed that while using expose the command focus option turns off in the edit window when you switch back from the mixer window?

I never use "command +=" because I keep my right hand on the mouse at all times and command focus on for my left hand. So I've haven't tried it with that shortcut yet, but I will.

Forgive if this has been brought up before, or if there's some option to toggle it that I don't know about.

Leopard 10.5.8
system specs are in the signature.
