Updated Subscription Cost & Backward Compatibility
Hi,
I'm aware of the new licencing structure and pricing model but just wanted to check a couple of things before my renewal date. Background, I've been a Pro Tools and Sibelius user for about 10 years, so have purchased perpetual products and converted both to subscription a year ago. 1) My Product List shows I've been upgraded to PT Studio and Sibelius Ultimate but when I click on "Manage Payment" it shows my annual renewal price will still be only $99 and $79 for the new upgraded products. Is this correct, and if so, will it increase to retail price in the future? 2) My projects and track counts fall within the PT Artist limitations, so if I'm faced with a larger annual cost and decide to downgrade, will my existing projects open with PT Artist assuming the track counts are within limits? Many thanks, just want to avoid any surprises. Robert |

Re: Updated Subscription Cost & Backward Compatibility
I should assume then that next year I'll get put back on full retail subs price and that Artist won't import my existing sessions. A lot of export work to prep for this downgrade so would be good to know for sure re compatibility.
