Default Pro Tools Expansion Pack Issues

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to purchase the PT EXpansion Pack and I'm hearing two different things with regard to compatibility.

On the Digidesign website it says that the Expansion Pack is compatible with Pro Tools versions ....7.4.....7.4.2 & version 8.

But... I was just looking on the Expansion Pack Product Box and it says that it is compatible with version 8 and higher and nothing about compatibility with version 7.4 or 7.4.2

Is there no Expansion Pack compatible with version 7.4.2....? Which is what I have.

Thanks for your help!

AIR Virtual Instruments Guide - System Requirements and Compatibility states A qualified Pro Tools|HD, Pro Tools LE, or Pro Tools M-Powered system (version 7.4 and higher).

Russ @ Air Users Blog said ..... no go for version 7.4.... it's only for version 8.

I can't believe that Digidesign would do this.

It's not like version version 7.4 is some dinosaur.

I could understand if it was version 6

Unbelievable.
