Default auto delay compensation

I understand there isn´t such a thing i Pro Tools Le. How do you do it manually to compensate for the delay caused by a plugin?

Default Re: auto delay compensation

Nudge based on samples or time and calculate how many ms or samples the delay is. You do this by have one track with a plug-in and a duplicate w/o a plug-in and see how much the processed one needs to be odffest to be in sync with the unprocessed.

Some plug-ins have a delay value which, if accurate gives you a good starting point. In the mix strip, ctrl-click the volume indicator underneath the fader and the display changes from Volume - Peak - Channel Delay. Channel delay will let you see in samples, the delay associated by plug-ins ( only if the plug-in has this feature encoded)
