Default Stutter Edit's on sale

So just thought Id let you know. From $250 to $100. Very rare you see these things reduced that much.
Its a great little plugin the only thing with glitch fx is you generally use them at the end of a session when you got a load of tracks and your cpu is already straining. Stutter edit and others really push the limits and you run the risk of crashing as result. But apart from that..

Got this in an email. I have Stylus RMX, Transfuser 2 and The Finger so I think I'm covered for glitch FX for now. I wanted Stutter Edit for the longest time a few years ago but not anymore.

I was thinking of taking the plunge but I cant decide. $100 is a bargain.
I did try the demo months ago but I cant remember much, only that it crashed my computer a couple of times, but then again so did finger. Id be more practical to apply to just wav files of a mix.
But damn I cannot make the decision. To buy or not to buy that is the question.
Its a little dated by today's standards (maybe thats why its reduced) but still it could be of use for transitions or on just beats or even as a source of inspiration.

Hmm... I just checked out some YouTube videos on Stutter Edit. I don't particularly like the way everything is laid out. Honestly I don't think it's worth $99 especially if you already own The Finger.

The Finger crashed on your system? Make sure you're using the latest version of both The Finger and Reaktor. The Finger has always worked very well on my system and has always seemed very light in terms of resources too.

My secret weapon is Transfuser of course for this type of thing. Beatcutter takes all the work out of glitching... I sometimes feel like I'm cheating!

I always compare these special fx plugs to what I can already do in Transfuser. Most of the time, I can't see an advantage to spending the money. And I agree, beat cutter is a trooper!! And when you add Mario to that...go crazy!!!

i use Stutter Edit. I use it on drum tracks and Vocal tracks.

I love it. It doesnt bog down my CPU, but i usually dont use it on my entire mix.

The interface isnt the best, but the $100 price is a great deal.
