Custom knobs mapping file location on a mac

Hi,

In this video it's mentioned that "this also saves the map to your workstation
so you can back the file up or even copy it over to another system"

Does anyone know where that file is located on a mac?

The custom Knob Map .xml files are located in -

~user / Library / Preferences / Avid / Consoles / "here"

Note, it is not one file. It is an xml file for each custom mapped plugin.

The export function in Eucon is for application soft key sets.

Unfortunately there's no such folder on my system,
maybe it's a difference between the S1 and the S3?

The User/Library folder is a hidden folder in the Mac OS. You will need to show hidden folders or press Command+Shift+period[.] while focused on the finder to show hidden folders.

Still there's no console folder in the avid folder.

Macintosh HD / User / Username / Library / Preferences / Avid / looks like this:
Pro Tools (folder)
Project Locations (folder)
Space Packages (file)

(Checked this one as well -> Macintosh HD / Library / Preferences /
but there's no Avid folder there)

Also did a finder search for "Console" but without any success.

Have you created any plugin maps yet?

Thanks mattrixx, yes a couple and they all work when restarting Pro Tools
so they must be saved somewhere on the computer...

If anyone else have the same problem I've made a workaround..

In the Avid folder, manually create a folder named Consoles with a subfolder named KnobMaps,
now all your custom mappings xml files will end up there.

What kind of account do you sign into the Mac with? I don't think anyone has seen this before and it could be a user permissions thing.
