questions for migration to OS X
I am helping a friend migrate his m-powered (FW 410) rig to v8, and from a win lappy to a brand new mac (obviously SL).
He bought (and registered) 7.0 and never upgraded to 7.4 - never needed to. Am I reading correctly that he'll have to buy 8.0 at full price ($299)? That he is not eligible for upgrade pricing from 7 to 8? Can someone confirm? If so, this would be really unfortunate... Best Nathan Lowe

I don't know for a fact but you can probably search around on the support papers on digi's site and look, but going from 7.0 to 8.0 my bet would be a full price because there was an upgrade going to 7.4...
