Entry Point not found - Error during launch of Pro Tools First

I am unable to open Pro Tools First (Version 2021.6). Following error is shown immediately after clicking the Pro Tools First Shortcut:

"ProToolsFirst.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

The procedure entry point SetThreadDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Avid\Pro Tools First\DigiPlatformSupport.dll

I have tried uninstalling the Avid Link & Pro Tools First software and reinstalling them. However, this problem still persists.

Problem may be W8.1. Not sure if Pro Tools | First works on anything below W10. What are the system requirements for PTF?

I am also having the same exact error message. I downloaded Pro Tools | First from the Focusrite website after registering my Scarlett2i2. I am unsure which version I have. But I know that some versions will work on Windows 8.1
