Default Bussing is only recording, doesn't do straight playback.

Hiya,

I feel like there must be something obvious I'm missing out on here. All I want to do is direct a few tracks through bus to an audio channel and use that for playback. But I'm hearing nothing. I can only actually hear what's being sent through when I set the channel recording a bounce.

I've searched all over the manual, here, google...

Put me out of my misery guys. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself when I find out.

Thanks.

record enable the track/channel. Use an Aux channel instead.

Not entirely sure what you're asking here But I'll give it a go...

Say you have three guitar tracks that you want to control with one fader..

Method A: Group the tracks. Move one fader they all move.
Method B: Create a Aux track. Set the output of the guitar tracks to the input of the aux track.

If you want to record all three guitar tracks into one single audio file, substitute the Aux track with an Audio track and record.

Hope this helps, as I said, I'm not really clear on what you are after.

Peace!

Press alt+k, as said above this is 'audio input monitoring' when it is active, a little box by the transport buttons will light up green.

Thanks guys! I managed to get it working sending them to Aux tracks (bussing the output rather than the sends) and that worked fine.

I'll try Alt+K today just for the learning experience of it, who knows when it'll come in handy.

Thanks again,

Chris.
