same session different DAW

Ok, "save copy in" saved in WAV form at 44.1 kHz save all audio files etc.. E- mailed it to a remote server, tried to open on different DAW to edit and master. But it can't find the audio. and it says playback engine will not play at 44.1 kHz but fire wire control panel is set correctly.
