Default Pro Tools 2021.12.0 with Waves version 14

I apologize if this is in the wrong thread. I could not find a 2021 thread. I was wondering; I know Pro Tools is up to 2022 now, but I was wondering if anybody has used Pro Tools 2021 with Waves version 14 by chance? It says version 13 is compatible, but just wondering if anybody has used version 14 with it and if it worked.

Thanks for your time!

Current release of PT is 2023.3 which was released days ago.

I don’t foresee Waves v14 causing you issues, but if you have a license for v14 you can install v13 and older. You should match the version of Waves that is compatible with your version of macOS.

The only issue would be if you’re wanting to run a recent Waves plugin that was released after v14 was the current version. But again, if it works on your macOS it will more than likely run fine with PT 2021.12.

Got ya! So, Waves 14 is compatible with my current Mac OS 10.15.7. I noticed it's compatible with Studio One version 6 as well, which I use. However, it said it was compatible with Pro Tools 2022, so that's why I was wondering if people were having success with 2021 and Waves v14, as I'm still on 2021, and don't have an upgrade for Pro Tools 2022/2023.

On another note, does anybody know if it's possible to use one version of Waves plugins on one computer, and another version on another one; i.e v14 on one computer, and version 12 on another? I have my licenses on a usb stick. I ask because my laptop, which I use occasionally, has version 12 and may not be able to do version 14, and my trash can mac can do version 14, and I'm not fully ready to clone my laptop from my main computer.
