Dock / Control App Custom Pan Knobs

Much like the custom knob assignments for plug-ins (love this), would anyone else see a benefit to having pan knobs customizable when looking at the pan window on the Control App with your tablet sitting in a Dock?

(Currently, this isn't possible, correct?)

So, I'm looking at a stereo track assigned to a 5.1 bus and I (personally) would love for the left-hand knobs to be (top-bottom):

Left Front
Left Front/Rear
Left Rear
<something else...maybe LFE as it defaults to now>

And I'd love for the right-hand knobs to be (top-bottom):

Right Front
Right Front/Rear
Right Rear
<something else...centre percentage?>

I understand why the knobs default the way they do but I find them less than useful in practice in that configuration.

(I feel like we're being teased because the "Custom" button is visible but "greyed out" in the pan window!)

Would anyone else be into this (not necessarily the layout that I've suggested above, but just being able to customize the knobs)?

Ok, thanks Eddie. I'm glad that I'm not completely out to lunch!

I'd certainly vote for this option...allowing customization of plug-in knobs was pretty close to a game changer.

+1 for custom pan knobs!
It would be so useful to have both left and right front, rear, and F/R controls on the same page.

Also, I would really like to see the Side% parameter (for 7,1+ paths) accessible via EuCon in any form, as it doesn't seem to be a the moment.

As soon as custom knobs came out this was an ask for me. I'd set it up exactly as you suggested Steve. Way more intuitive on a stereo panner to have the left side controlling the left and the right side controlling the right.

So this might find some traction with users...especially those of us in post sound and maybe even more so, universally, with increased attention on "spatial" mixing.

@EddieJones, could we nudge this up the request list a little bit farther?
