mbox mini (snow leopard, pro tools 8)
Recently purchased a new imac, came with snow leopard pre-installed which made my mbox 1 a paper weight. I went out and bought an mbox mini (3rd gen) and am running pro tools 8.0.5. All of this should be compatible. I installed the drivers for the mbox mini, yet the computer still isnt recognizing the hardware. when i open pro tools, it doesnt recognize the hardware either. so basically i need my computer to recognize that the mbox mini exists, and that should allow me to use pro tools and select the mbox in system preferences if i choose as an audio output.
BTW, when i open the system preference for the driver i installed, it shows the mbox mini but still says "hardware not connected". any ideas? suggestions? |
