Digi 003 Firewire on macOS Monterey

I already had the drivers installed and the 003 was working fine in Catalina and Pro Tools 2023.6.

I have not been able to get it working with Pro Tools since upgrading to Monterey, even after running the tool. Audio/MIDI Setup and Pro Tools both "see" the 003, and I can select the 003 in the Playback Engine settings, but it does not work as a control surface (screen is blank, faders do nothing, etc).

I feel like it should be possible based on some of these other posts, but in the meantime, I am booting from an external drive into Catalina, and it works fine -- as do my UAD firewire Satellites (which won't work after Catalina).

You are not providing enough info.


Make sure your signature has the info like mine.


What control surface? only thing you mention is a 003?.


Make sure you go to system preferences and allow the mic to have access.



After running WHAT TOOL?

You say you had the drivers installed on Catalina, and you upgraded.


Reinstall the driver after you upgraded.
