Avid Control no longer working w/Artist

Mac studio m1 max, OS 12.3.1, running Artist 2022.5.0

I decided to use EU Control via my iPad today, which I hadn't used in a couple months. now it doesn't work. Screens come up on my iPad as empty shells with no functionality. tried messing around with it but got nowhere. got something to the effect of an incompatibility message at one point so I figured I needed to update it. no update available. at that point I uninstalled/reinstalled it to the iPad but still w/the same result.

Check that your version of PT and EUControl are compatible on this table

If they are, then you have got a network or configuration problem.

That incompatible message indicated that you are running a different version of EuControl vs the Avid Control on the tablet. If you are up to date on the tablet then you need to be on the current version (2022.9) of EuControl on the Mac.

Are the Mac and tablet on the same network?

Does the tablet show up in the left column of EuControl as available devices under All Surfaces”? If it does then you need to drag it over to the right column under My Surfaces.

Did you turn on Eucon in Pro Tools under Setup > Peripherals, and click the Ethernet Controllers tab?

okay, makes sense. basically my iPad auto updated, but not on my computer. all fixed, thanks
