Just bounce to a different drive. Then, Drag&Drop if you need it on the E: drive

Have you checked to see if that volume has the correct permission?
Go to Window>New Workspace>Default You should see a list of volumes. Make sure the "E:" drive is set to "R"

I am having this same problem.
I've set permissions for my disks to Playback in the Workspace, but I'm still getting the error. Pro Tools 2023.6.0 Macbook Pro running OS 14.4.1 I just transferred to this new mac from my old one, and got the error the first time on the new machine, so I'm sure that's related. |

The error message Pro Tools gives about not being a Playback volume is stupidly incorrect. If you enjoy beating your head against the wall you can open a case with with Avid support and report that problem. |
