Unhappy Quantize house tracks for DJ-ing

Hi,

I'm a DJ and I have a few tracks that are not correctly quantized. So if mix them they don't stay sync. All of them are house tracks.

How do I fix these tracks so I can use them in Traktor without adjusting the speed al the time. Is this done with elastic audio or beat detective? I watched a couple of youtube films, but no luck..

Can anybody explain me what a simple way of quantizing is?

Thanks

Jan

Elastic Audio's Polyphonic algorithm is worth a try. Serato Pitch N Time is my favorite for changing tempo(or pitch). Put the track in Ticks mode and adjust the BPM till you get it where you want it.

Use Elastic Time.... If It's A Perc Loop Use The "Rhythmic" Option... If Not, Then "Like He Said" In The Previous Post....")

Drag The Loop To The Nearest Bar Using The Bracket Tool In "Stretch" Mode. Make Sure The Front Of The Loop Is On The 1st Bar Line.

Then, Select The Loop By Dragging From, Example: Beat 1.1.000 To Beat 2.1.000.... Don't Select The Audio, Select The Bar.... It's Key To Select The Bar: That Way Your Loop Will Stay Locked To The Bar, "Not" The Length Of The Loop Audio Region...

Then, "Quantize Elastic Audio Events" In The Drop Down, In The Quantize Window... Play With The Quantize Till It Feels Right...

I Wish I Had An Easier Way To Explain It Without Writing A Manual... I Could Show You In A "New York Second"
