Default Really bad noise....

Hey there,

I have pro toos m-powered 8 with a fast track pro interface usb connect w/ windows xp perntium 4 processor. Anyhow, I recently upgraded to pro tool 8.0.3 and now when I'm in any session, I get a real bad scratching sound. It's usually when Im using plugins or whenver I make any adjustments it just starts to static or scratch. Not sure why. It even makes this sound when the song is playing, but it's not all the time. It also makes this sound when I simply move the mouse.Usually does it more and more as the pro tools stay on for a while.

Thank you.

Check your H/W Buffer Size settings. Sounds to me like you have them set too low and your processor just can't handle it.
