Pro Tools 11.2 released

11.2 here since Friday - big jobs - no crashes.

Rolled back to 11.1.3 after a couple of total freezes that I have never seen before under any version of 10 or 11.
Also Eucon 3.1.3 in combination with 11.2 seems very sensitive to any changes (new connections made within the network) etc. Sometimes when the Eucon app hangs it will take down PT with it etc.

Went back to 11.1.3 and no problems of this kind anymore.

Maybe something system specific but no time to investigate. Rolled back and no more freezes.

They also seem to have changed something in 11.2 that causes multi-channel files that you spot from soundminer to 11.2 to become shuffled around. LCR files will show up as CLR for example. Doesn't happen with PT11.1.3

11.2 crashes whenever i make certain tracks active... eveery time... is there 11.2.1 coming soon or should i go back a version?

After changing to Eucon 3.1.3 PT 11.2 is working pretty flawless here.

Lockups when activating/deactivating tracks. Crashes when duplicating tracks. Crashes when editing settings in the PT prefs which I so far have never seen before. Also crashing when opening session and also when closing it. Not always but very often.

P.S.: Yes I installed the 11.2 driver and yes I deleted the usual DBs and settings and repaired permissions.

Oh boy, am I with you on this one, Frank. Today mine quits EVERY TIME I close a session. It quits when I try to record a mix. It spends more time unexpectedly quitting than it does working. I have been sending crash logs with comments for so long now (especially on the unexpected quit while recording issue) that some of the comments have become quite unprintable. What bugs me is that their bugs bug my clients. 'Pro' Tools? Anyone would think Apple got hold of the software as it seems to be an Apple kind of 'Pro'.

It seems plugins that don't support bypass (such as downmixer) sometimes appear in the channel strip as blue-ed out and bypassed, although they function as expected. It's just a graphic bug, and I can't seem to replicate it on different systems. When command-clicking on it, it does what you'd expect and gives the popup that the plugin does not support bypass.

Again, it functions fine. Just the appearance in the channel strip seems to be inverted. Does not happen on 10.3.9 on the same machine.

- v.11.2 - I get freezes when enabling or disabling tracks. It is a 50/50 chance that I get a freeze when doing this.

- Had one crazy graphic glitch freeze too.

- And sometimes Playhead won't follow selection. I have to click to that position several times until playhead follows selection.
