Default BIG Latency Problem on HD 10! Need expert help

Hi all,

I own a new PT HDX system and been recording, mixing with it for a month. Been having this problem these couple days. This is happen 5 times in an hour.
The problem is the vocalist would be recording fine and latency is perfect on his can for a bit , but then without me changing anything , it would suddenly introduce latency out of no where, so then i restart my session the problem would go away .. But then it ll come back after a while ... I m on OSX Lion and Mac Pro 12 cores..... Please help!
