Default Midi input doesn't work apparently

Hi!
I just wanna record midi on a midi track but I can't have any signal when I hit my midi keyboard. There are no signal in the track's vu-meter. I can record something but I can't hear anything. I just can see the notes that are wrinting, and listen to what I played when I stop record and play back my record.
I use Kontakt 3 or Hybrid, it's the same problem. And everything is fine when not using Pro Tools i.e. when I'm only using Kontakt as standalone app.

Midi input with my M-Audio Delat Audiophile 2496

Quadcore Intel 9300 with 4 GB
I'm just getting crazy...

Have you tried an instrument track in the place of midi?? Put Kontakt or Hybrid on an insert (on the instrument track) and record from there. Also helps to send to an AUX track, might fix your not hearing what your recording, but should hear even without clicking on 'record'. Hope this helps a little ,,,,, Mike

I forgot to tell that I was using Pro Tools with a MBox 2 mini
