Export clips as audio file (or undo without undoing copying to clipboard)
I just spent an hour editing an unintelligable section of a podcast into something quite easy to understand. Problem is I managed to shift a track out of sync in the process!
I want to select the clips I edited (on one track), export them as a new single file, the 'undo' to the point I made the error. I could then insert the exported clips instead of having to start from scratch. Is this possible? I can't seem to find the way to do it. Export selected seems to just export the audio files associated with the clips. Is there another way? Cheers. Protools 2020.12.0 Mac OS 11.2.3 |

Rather than export it, just highlight the section you want to keep, paste it somewhere down the timeline away from everything else, consolidate it or group the clips and then insert where you need to.
