Hi,

I just did my periodic re-format of my hard drive and upon reinstallation of pt free, I get no sound. The sound functions fine in all other applications, it worked before. Is there a place to selcet my output options? I haven't been able to find it.

Hi spencedavey,

Pro Tools FREE uses whatever sound card/driver is selected as the "preferred" device in the Audio Tab of the Windows MultiMedia Control Panel. Be sure to set both the Preferred Playback and Preferred Record device to the sound card you wish to use.

By the way, what sound card are you using?
